Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Keeping up with the faithful adaptation of the second book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is an enjoyable film.  However, it skips enough of the book due to time limits to mildly annoy fans of the book while it can also create a little bit of confusion for anyone who hasn't read it.  The special effects still stand up and doesn't look too unrealistic, however, even during it's time, Dobby looks too fake and weird.  The plot is decent although it loses some of the cleverness from the book.  It drags on a short while during the middle part and it felt like an anti-climax at the end when Harry had his big battle.  The score is excellent and iconic.  I liked how we get to see some day to day lives of being in a magic school, going to classes and of course, the Quidditch match.  If you want to be more critical, then some of the character's actions are questionable and their reaction time is embarrassingly slow.
