Book Review: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Review:  #224
Title:  Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Series:  Harry Potter - 3rd book
Author:  J.K. Rowling
Read Before:  yes
My Comments:  The best book in the series so far, and my favourite one out of the whole series.  I really like the time travelling element of the book, as it was really well done, and it fitted together so naturally, that it was unbelievable.  The way the story was slowly unveiled as you read the book, learning bits and pieces as the characters were learning them at the same time, it kept me hooked and wanting more and more.  The second half of the book was amazing, and I love how complex, yet elegant, the overall story was.  Personally, I think Harry’s starting to show his stubbornness from this book onwards (and it is quite annoying).  The amount of information, about the wizard world the author has created, that was in this book was amazing, and made the book just one step higher.  It was quite heart wrenching at the unfairness of everything by the time you’ve finished reading it, instead of the happy endings you’re used to getting, the bad guys won.  It was a nice twist, but the feeling of having something in your grasp, and then having it torn away, it was well done here.
